We provide a warm, safe and secure home-like environment for our youngest children. We nurture and develop relationships with the children and their families to ensure that they feel comfortable when coming to our service. Our focus in this room is on social, language, cognitive, gross and fine motor skills. We tailor our program to suit the needs and developmental stages of the children in our care.

We believe in a strong Orientation Program, where you and your child can build strong connections and relationships with our educators and the service. These include visits with your child and visits where you can leave your child for short periods of time before your child’s first full day. This allows our educators to get to develop a bond with your child, as well as get to know their unique needs and routines.

Our focus in this room is on relationships, sensory play, language development, gross and fine motor skills. We tailor our always changing program to suit the needs and developmental stages of the children in our care. 

As with all other rooms, the progress of your child is documented and shared with you in many different ways, via our app, through the children’s work around the room and in their portfolios which are accessible to all families. The direction of the learning is driven by the children’s interests and developmental stage.
